Work is going well - I have a lot of projects coming down the pipeline, but most of them are design-oriented and I really enjoy them.
I'm buying a new digital camera to take to China. I've narrowed the search down to:
Canon Powershot SD600
Casio Exilim EX-Z70
Look them up if you have any advice! My gut instinct tells me to get the Canon, they've been around a long time and have a good reputation. But the Casio is a little cheaper, has better resolution, cooler features, and got amazing user reviews from dpreview.com (digital photography review).
Sooo hmmm... either way, I'll be getting a hell of a camera! I'll probably make up my mind tomorrow and get the camera ordered so I can break it in a little before leaving... I think if anything major is going to go wrong, it will happen in the first month of use.
Friday night plans... Indian food at the Taj Mahal and then onto the Opera! Amy and I are going - for Indian food because it used to be our favorite restaurant, and to the opera because she's never been. (But I have ... meehh look how cultured I am!) Anyway, haven't seen her for a long time, working on the friendship still!
My project for March: live in my budget so I can save more money for China, and fix up / sell the Scout. Poor Scout, it will be a lot harder to sell him. Buuut meh, what the hell else can I do??
It's true what the dude says in Fight Club - the things you own end up owning you ... unless you disrespect them and sell their asses to get cash to move to a foreign country! (I added that last part.)
