The Last of the Sopranos.

Whoooo, what a last weekend in Fort Collins!

Chad came up on Friday morning. We went to Best Buy, the grocery store, the liquor store, and got ready for my little going away party on Friday night.

The going away party was great! Chad and I bought some Tanqueray Rangpur gin - it was delicious! We basically got trashed before the first guests even showed up. What fun! :)

The party was pretty uneventful - same ol' crap as usual. Jonas annoyed the shit out of me, everybody made a big mess, and I gave away most of my extra stuff to whoever wanted it.

Saturday morning, we got up and made pancakes. My place was trashed, but Chad and I just ended up laying around watching Robot Chicken and Battlestar Galactica all afternoon. Kathleen and Nicole both called us to invite us out to the bars with them, but Chad didn't want to go out and I didn't really want to invite people over again with my apartment in the bad shape that it was... so we just laid around and fell asleep kind of early.

Sunday, he took off, I cleaned my apartment from top to bottom, I made Kung Pao chicken for dinner, Dan came over and we played on Google Earth for an hour, and then Kirsten came over. We went to Old Chicago for beer and pizza during happy hour.

Then I went home and downloaded the new Sopranos episode! HOLY cow. It was the last ever. I loved it! I can't tell if I'm supposed to think that Tony died or that life is continuing on like normal. Basically, the writers didn't want to piss off half the audience, so they left it up in the air. The screen goes black and silent in the end... a suspicious man might have killed Tony, or Tony could just be content to have dinner with his whole family. Who knows?! (I like the open ending. I wanted a little more closure than I got, but altogether, it was a very fitting end!)

What an amazing TV show. I love the Sopranos.

My week is going to be really busy. All these people want to hang out with me "one last time" and all that jazz. I want to just say, "Fuck em." I just want to get my apartment cleaned, get my stuff in order, and get the hell out of here. My nerves are killing me! But I'll probably end up seeing everybody a few last times before I skip town next Tuesday or Wednesday.

I hate goodbyes.
