I'm just pissed that the world governments are criticizing the Iraqi government for HOW they killed some deposed leaders. What the fuck?? We're ok with condemning them to death, but we want it to be done "right?" An execution isn't a damn British tea party with Darjeeling green tea and strumpets... there is no code of morals on how to kill a human. We approve of killing them, but now that it's over, we have to assert that it wasn't done up to our high standards in order to place ourselves back up on our moral pedestal. It's bullshit.
Ok, but I wrote about 5 pages on that already... SO back to MY life, which is what this site is for...
I had a great day! I went over to Kim's last night to watch the Constant Gardener. The movie pissed me off. Everybody kept warning them, "Don't keep doing what you're doing, or goddammit, you'll get murdered!" But oops! They kept doing it... and oops! They got murdered. I can't feel bad for them, they should have found different means or just given up altogether. When people get warned and still pursue something, they deserve to reap consequences for ignoring a warning.
I came home from Kim's around 1:00 this afternoon. :) I hit up the gym, went to Whole Foods (god I'm a co-dependent stalker!) and bought a giant buffalo top sirloin steak. Then I came home, ate the entire thing, followed it up with a bunch of broccoli, and then I chatted with everybody online for way too long.
Chinese class starts tomorrow at 9 a.m. I should probably be getting to bed soon, I'm kind of exhausted and I need my sleep! My new workout plan is working like a dream, and I'm not as sore this evening as I was after last Monday's workout.
I love drinking my whey protein. It tastes like a milkshake only without the lactose!
Ok, almost midnight ... time for bed! What am I going to cook for Kim on Wednesday?? Perhaps homemade pasta with marinara sauce and garlic bread.
