What a Memorial Day Weekend!

I had a great 3-day weekend!
Friday, I worked in the morning and then we went camping in the afternoon. Kirsten and I drove up early and found a good spot, then we called directions down to Dan who came up with Skyler.
The four of us gathered firewood, played shanghai rummy, cooked delicious food, and enjoyed beer around the campfire. My tent was big enough for all 4 of us to very-comfortably fit.
Saturday morning, we woke up and made a huge breakfast (bacon, hash browns, eggs, and blueberry pancakes). Then we went hiking up the Roaring Creek Trail.
Anyway, Dan and Skyler left after our hiking trip, so Kirsten and I stayed another night in the mountains, just the two of us. It was a lot of fun, but nothing very notable happened... (cooking, eating, etc.)
Sunday, we drove back down to town and got rested up / cleaned up. Sunday was Kirsten's 21st birthday! We got a group of both her friends and my friends together and we all went to Old Chicago's for dinner. Afterwards, we went bar-hopping until around 1:30 a.m. Then I helped Kirsten stumble home and we slept on her futon at her apartment.
Monday morning, we woke up around 8:30 a.m. and just laid in bed watching movies until about 1:00. Finally we got up, showered, and went to Dan's house for a barbecue. Dan made steak with his "secret family recipe" and it was delicious!
After the barbecue, we all went swimming at Ryan's apartment complex. We hung out there for a few hours, then split up to go get showered and dressed before meeting for dinner at El Burrito. After dinner, everyone came back to my house for board games. We played Catch Phrase and Cranium.
My allergies are bad... stupid grass pollen! I'm on Nyquil and I feel like I'm drunk.
