Battleship takes some mad skills

I did my taxes last night, I'm getting $162 back. I feel ripped off, I paid over $1000. My problem is that if I declare my tuition as a tax deduction, then I also have to declare my scholarship as untaxed income, which fucks everything up. No wonder people cheat on their taxes.

I keep telling myself, "Hey, at least it's a refund!" Annnd getting a small tax refund is a lot better than paying for school all by myself. But now I'm graduated! I have a college degree. (Actually, two!) I'm debt-free, I get paid a lot to do something I love, and I have an exciting thing to look forward to (China!). I really can't complain.

I was a lazy bastard all weekend. All I really got accomplished was a load of laundry and a little cleaning. I cooked a few pretty tasty meals. I slept through Chinese class this morning, but still made it to the gym. I just forgot to turn up the volume for my alarm, so it played super quiet for an hour before I realized I was supposed to be getting up.

Kim and I have been playing this Battleship game on Yahoo games. She wins almost every time. Is it possible to be "good" at Battleship?! I always just thought it was random - but she's been winning consistently across 8 games or so... (I beat her once I think?) So perhaps it takes some kind of skill that I lack!

Work is really busy. I have 5 things on my "to do" list that need to be done. I just had to take a break and update to help get my head on straight. And now that I just mind-dumped, it's time to get back to work!
