January - I started the year in St. George with my family. I was dating Amy and we had about 3 days together before she left for India. I turned 23.
February - The long distance thing was working and I kept chugging along with school. I was the best man in John and Jayme's wedding.
March - Amy and I broke up for the last time after spending a week together upon her return from India.
April - Went snowboarding a few times, schoolwork ... and that is all!
May - Casino Night hospital benefit, Allen's high school graduation in St. George, finals week!
June - Short crush / dating with Katie ended abruptly, parties with my friends, started my new job with $$salary$$.
July - Short crush / dating Lauren B. More parties, slacking off, working a lot.
August - Met and started dating Kimie. My last semester of school started. Took a short vacation from work and went absolutely nowhere. Allen moved in with me for 6 weeks ... pretty much the same 6 weeks that Kimie and I would last!
September - Signed my graduation contract ... other than that, school and work!
October - Allen moved out, Kimie and I moved on, took a trip to Alamosa for Halloween and rode back up with a stranger when Allen's truck broke down. Had a giant, successful halloween party! Grew a goatee.
November - Attended my first opera, spent Thanksgiving with Dan, Dahlia, and Allen. We followed dinner with a game of Madden football.
December - Graduated college! Worked my ass off, got senioritis, and traveled to Salt Lake City for Christmas in a mountain condo with the whole family.
I kissed four girls this year. I slept with three girls this year. I graduated college and started planning my move to China. Allen became my best friend when he moved here, we spent a lot of time together.
I met some pretty great new friends this year, too ... especially Mike L., Kirsten, Heather, and Shelby.
Wow!! Okay, old year in a nutshell eh!
Meanwhile, back at the ranch:
I got snowed in here for 3 days. Then Allen and I drove to the mountain condo near Salt Lake to hang with my family. Christmas was great, I got a nice shirt and a sushi kit. Then I spent two days with Mom and Dad in their new apartment in SLC. Allen's moving in there, I hope that works out for everyone! I saw Aubri's apartment in downtown SLC, it's awesome!
I flew back to Denver in time for Blizzard #2. Sarah P. picked me up from the airport and we spent a few days snowed-in together at her Dad's house. I had a lot of fun with her. I'm not sure if it's because she's taken or something else, but I was a lot less in love with her this time. Usually when I see her, my heart melts when I look at her, but now, I was actually a little annoyed with her a few times.
She drove me home on the 30th and stayed the night here. We were supposed to spend New Years Eve together, but given her family / car situation, we decided to just hang out a night early. We made tortellini and played board games.
She left on the morning of the 31st and I went out for lunch with the Dan and Travis gang. I came home and played Zelda all afternoon... the new Zelda game is fucking awesome. I love it so far! Then last night, Dan, Brandon, and Timmy came over. I drank two whole bottles of wine on my own.
Bad idea! Don't get wasted on wine for New Years. It makes for a nasty, puking, sick hangover to kick off your new year. I recovered around 3:00 when I took a nap, then played Zelda all afternoon again. I also cleaned my apartment. I have a ton of laundry to do, I need to drop off my rent check, I have to work, and I need to go to the big downtown post office to pick up a package. I'll be busy tomorrow!
But for now, sleep! Mmmmm delicious sleep.
